Intro to Ski Touring

Boulder Mountaineering School, CMC Boulder Group

 

This clinic is designed for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers who want to try cross-country touring, and we use traditional xc skis. The course consists of two lectures at Neptune Mountaineering, followed by optional ski tours on various weekends throughout the winter. Lectures cover equipment, clothing and waxing. Class emphasis revovles around technique for the enjoyment of the Front Range trails– Brainard, Hessie, Peaceful Valley, Coney Flats, etc.
