Friends of Colorado Group

The Friends of Colorado (FOC) Group was created in 1987 to support the many CMC members who live out of state and want to take part in CMC activities when visiting Colorado, including CMC trips offered by other Groups, state outings, trail work and other Conservation activities.

Friends of Colorado members receive all the benefits of being a CMC member, including our quarterly Trail & Timberline magazine, 20% discount on CMC Press books and a 15% discount on merchandise, as well as discounts at a variety of outdoor retailers. Please see our website for a complete list of member benefits.

In addition, as a member you are supporting our great cause of conservation and education in the mountains. CMC advocates for wilderness, conducts trail work and stewardship projects, provides educational opportunities for more than 7,000 low income youth, as well as teaching hundreds of adults about safety, outdoor leadership, and technical skills.

Friends of Colorado members sign up for CMC trips and activities just like members from any other Group. Login to www.cmc.org and sign-up through the calendar or contact the CMC Office. If the trip is “Register with Leader,” call the trip leader listed in the on-line trip.

Please contact the CMC Office at office@cmc.org or by calling our toll-free number at (800) 633-4417 with questions about Friends of Colorado.
