Live virtual field trips are great for a classroom that is physically together or learning apart. Our new virtual field trips combine video instruction, worksheets and hands-on activities to augment classroom learning and engage students in Colorado's nature and outdoors!

Colorado Weather: Clouds & Lightning
What can clouds tell us about the weather? Gain awareness of Colorado's variable weather through observation and investigation. Discover the science of lightning and lightning safety. Learn about different types of clouds and how they can help predict weather patterns.
Recommended: 2nd-4th grades
Ecology: Colorado Mammals
What makes a mammal a mammal? Make observations about physical features of Colorado mammals (skull, fur, feet). Learn about the common large mammals that can be found in Colorado and how their adaptations allow them to thrive in their local environment.
